Professor What’z It Comes to Rosseau, where Muskoka meets Parry Sound

As part of our celebrations this summer The Rosseau Culture and Arts Project is bringing to Rosseau “Professor What’z It and The Art of Science”.  This is an interactive performance show for kids of all ages from 3 and up! It’s silly, informing and very entertaining. Professor What’z It is my (Vince Grittani, The Weekend Guy’s) alter ego which I have been taking to schools, events  and fairs for the past few years on behalf of Elephant Thoughts, a great organization that provides, encourages and inspires learning all over Canada and beyond.  My role is to inspire and to entertain…and in the process blow up, chill down and amaze the audience with what at first looks like magic….but is really science.

On the first performance day I will be joined by my friend Dr. Jane Gair, from the University of Victoria. She’ll be helping me out and bringing in new cool stuff!

These shows are all being held at the new TWG Gallery, Centre of Creactivity in the Village of Rosseau. The proceeds are going partially to Elephant Thoughts and partially to The Muskoka Theatre Project’s “In-Tent to Build” Campaign, raising the fund to purchase a performance tent, and bring back live theatre to Rosseau. We have the land we just need the space. It’s all very exciting.

So moms and dads, grandparents, aunts and uncles, if you are looking for something new and original to do with the kids this summer, you all have to come and see “Professor What’z It and The Art of Science”.

Two shows a day! RAIN OR SHINE on Tuesday, July 16, July 30 and August 6 at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. TICKETS AT THE DOOR ONLY $10.  per kid . ADULTS ARE FREE!
